1st ESO students went on a field trip to El Berrueco countryside to practice the orienteering skills they have learned in PE class. We wanted to share what some students wrote about their experience on the trip! This is what Sergio and Roberto wanted to say about it!
What did we do?
We walked in the country from the top of a mountain to a cathedral.
We passed through a bridge and there was a dry river.
We had groups of 12 people and we used a compass to go the right way.
We saw many different animals. For example: horses, donkeys, birds and cows.
When we finished the route, we had a sandwich in a park.
What did you like the most?
We liked when we saw a donkey on the way and also when our teacher Fausto frightened us!
Additionally, Roberto´s group got lost and a monitor had to help them to continue the route.
We had a very good time and we laughed a lot with friends and teachers.
The weather was very good, it was hot.
What did you learn with the activity?
We learned how to use a compass properly and not to get lost in the country.
We also learned how to work in groups and to be with teachers doing an outdoor activity.
We learned to appreciate nature and look after the environment. It was a beautiful place and we liked it very much!
